In meanwhile time, Microsoft go to groom up lot of various unique products in market where there are too many social networking sites out there on the Internet and you have an account on each of them and it’s getting more difficult to remember their passwords. Welcome So.cl to the list of social networking websites. Microsoft has just launched a social network, which aimed at students all around the world.

You can view up So.cl a social learning network where students from lot of different-2 universities can share their knowledge and information with everyone and social networking at same time. So.cl provides rich media sharing, and real time sharing of videos via “video parties.

Feature of ‘Video Party’ is quite similar to Google+ hangouts. No, you can’t talk face-to-face, but you can create a room where you and your friends can watch a Youtube video together and share your views in the comment segment. There are lot of  things which are yet to be revealed and everyone’s eagerly waiting to get hands on with the social search site.

Mircosoft  knows it’s very difficult to compete with the other gaint social networking sites – Facebook and Twitter, that’s why the research team behind the new social network has clearly mentioned that ‘It’s not meant to be a Facebook killer’.Microsoft is trying to find a new niche in the social networking field.

One thing which I really found interesting is that So.cl features a search experience, powered by Bing. There is a search box placed at the top of the stream. You can search the web using the search box and share the results with your friends. The results you share on your So.cl wall, which is usually called as status updates, can be commented on, just like in Facebook and Google+.
