Some useful SEO Tips of 2012

Quality Content Is Still King
I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “Content is King” and that still holds true in 2012, but there will be even more of an emphasis on quality than ever before. Search engines get better and better at judging just how good your content really is.
If we see from a business perspective, it makes sense to put forth your best effort and write something worthwhile instead of spinning and pasting things together from other articles and blog posts you’ve read online. The more good content you get out there, be it blog posts, forum posts, articles, short reports and even audio content like broadcasts or videos, the better your chances of getting visitors to your own site.

If we spend about 20% of our time and effort writing for our own blog or website and 80% out on the web marketing  for our site that will be grateful to achieve target for good SEO.
Optimize way For Keywords
Start most pieces of content that you write with some keyword research. Find out what your readers and potential readers are looking for online. You can use things like the Word tracker keyword tool or the Google keyword tool to find out what terms are searched for. Then write your content around those words and phrases.
Don’t stuff your keywords into your content just for the sake of getting them in there. Rather you should keep your potential customers in mind. Make it fun and easy to read and only include your keyword once or twice in the content. Do use it as part of your title though and be sure to make your key phrase the anchor text that links to it.Anchor text is the text in blue underlined links.
For example, if I mention this blog post somewhere online, I will make the link text “
Some useful SEO Tips of 2012”. It will help reinforce the fact that I want to rank for keywords like “Some Useful SEO” and “Tips of 2012”.

Mixing In Social Media
The biggest change I see in SEO this year is that social media will become more and more important. Google already looks at how many tweets, facebook posts and Google+ mentions each of your web pages gets and that’s going to become more important as we move further into 2012. If you haven’t already done so, sign up for accounts with each of the big social networks. Spend some time setting up your profile, including a picture, a short description and of course a link back to your website or blog. Then start participating regularly. Set aside 15 minutes a day to tweet and post. Make new connections on these networks and share interesting stuff as you come across it. Throw in a link here and there back to your own site and you’ll be all set.
Customer Experience and Balancing of SEO.
2012 will be all about balancing what we need to do to get search engine traffic and creating an awesome customer experience. That means that not every single piece of content will be written just with search results and keywords in mind. Instead focus on our readers, subscribers and customers and write just for them from time to time. If you can’t find a good keyword for a particular blog post, don’t fret it. Write it anyway, especially if your readers will benefit from it.
I don’t do hardly anything just for the sake of SEO. I always keep my target market in mind and find new ways to reach them and serve them. Here’s an example. I’m writing a lot of guest blog posts this month. Yes, there will be a big SEO benefit from all those extra incoming links to my site, but it goes further than that. Each guest post also gives me a chance to get in front of new readers – like you – and allows me to share some of the things I can teach you. Keep that in mind anytime you work on optimizing your site and build links via article marketing, guest blogging, forum participation, blog commenting etc. and you will grow your online business much faster.
